Adobe Commerce announced the introduction of April Feature Update, which includes PWA Studio 12.4. This version expands the arsenal of PWA site customization features, allowing your marketers and merchandisers complete content control over the shopper’s storefront experience from start to finish.

PWA Studio 12.4.0

Product attributes have been added to PWA Studio, allowing retailers to improve the consumer experience on their PWA sites without relying on developers. Product attributes allow marketers and merchandisers to communicate additional product values and features to customers in order to enlighten and guide them through the buying process. These properties can be utilized to improve the search, filtering, and sorting experiences, as well as the product detail page. No technical knowledge is necessary because they are controlled directly in the Adobe Commerce Admin and connected with Page Builder. This feature allows retailers to improve customer experiences while minimizing TCO by reducing the amount of time spent by developers and partners.

While this could be done in the past, the results were difficult to digest and there was minimal possibility for sorting and filtering. System and custom product properties are now returned in their own object, which can be sorted and filtered, within the GraphQL response.

Site-Wide Analysis Tool

The Site-Wide Analysis Tool now has a new dashboard with widgets that make it easy for merchants to access integrated support products like Managed Alerts, Security Scan Tool, and Upgrade Compatibility Tool. The Site Wide Analysis Tool is a central repository for Adobe Commerce support products, highlighting real-time system insights and proactive measures to remedy recognized site performance, security, and functionality issues. It can be used by both on-premise and cloud retailers.
